Welcome to Art by Reharn

Reharn Morris is a mixed-media artist and crafter who is inspired by colour and life. Born in Devonport Tasmania, Reharn strives to create objects and artworks that make people smile and bring joy.

Photography and artworks have always been a big part of Reharn’s creative outputs, looking for the joy for others rather than creative acknowledgment. In more recent years, COVID-19 has impacted photography as an industry, and Reharn has returned to creating colourful artwork, weaving, and reconnecting to her East Coast Trouwunna/Lutruwitta heritage.

Reharn’s Professional Memberships include:

  • Turrakana Indigenous Heritage Centre (THIC) - Current

  • Aboriginal Art Association of Australia - since 2021

  • Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (Professional Member) 2017-2020

Reharn’s Photography Awards:

  • 2019 - Bronze Award for ‘Chewy” in Pet & Animal Category

  • 2018 - Bronze Award for ‘Dragon Princess’ in Portrait Category

You will find Reharn at the annual Tasmania Craft Fair (Deloraine) and various markets within Tasmania, with an aim to exhibit painting more in 2024.
